From Desk Jobs to Daydreams

A few years ago, we were stuck in the loop that many people know all too well — back-to-back meetings, endless deadlines, and screen time that never seemed to end. We were doing fine on paper, but something was missing. During one particularly exhausting day, a random conversation about childhood memories led us to an old favorite — toys. Not just any toys, but the kind that made you feel something. Soft, comforting, expressive ones that reminded us of simpler times.

That night, out of pure curiosity, we ordered a plush Labubu toy — one of those quirky, mischievous little characters we’d seen online but never thought much about. When it arrived, we were surprised at how much joy it brought us. It sat on the desk like a quiet reminder to pause, breathe, and smile. We joked that it had more personality than some of our coworkers!

That one toy sparked something unexpected.

We started collecting more, sharing them with friends, gifting them to family. And we weren’t alone — people genuinely loved them. The details, the charm, the quality — it was something different from the usual stuffed toys you’d find everywhere.

Soon, our nights and weekends were spent researching suppliers, comparing materials, talking to collectors, and slowly curating a collection of plush toys we genuinely loved.

That’s how Toys and More was born — not from a business plan, but from a feeling. A desire to build something lighter, more joyful, and personal.

We’re still growing, still learning.
